ADVANCE REGISTRATION - JANUARY TERM 2009
Advance registration for J-Term through FAS will continue throughout the Fall term.
PLEASE NOTE: As you register, please remember to be sure you are in the correct term. Once you move back and forth between departments, the term you have chosen will change. So before you register a student for a course, be sure they are in the correct term.

DATES TO REMEMBER: FALL 2008
WEDNESDAY, August 20-24 - ETBU 101.
MONDAY, August 25 - Classes Begin! LATE REGISTRATION BEGINS.
TUESDAY, September 2 - LATE REGISTRATION ENDS. Last day to add a class for academic credit.
FRIDAY, September 5 - Signed Verification Rosters due UNLESS your course meets on Friday ONLY.
MONDAY, September 8 - Signed Verification Rosters due IF your course meets on Friday ONLY.
MON-FRI, October 6-10 - Mid-Semester Period.
THURSDAY, October 13- MID-TERM GRADES DUE AT NOON.
MONDAY, November 3 - Advance Registration through FAS for Spring & Summer terms begins.
SATURDAY, December 13 - GRADUATION CEREMONY.
MONDAY, Decemeber 15 - FINAL GRADES DUE BY NOON!

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act Notice:
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) guarantees the privacy of certain elements of student information. Faculty are granted the privilege of access to information, due to their educational interest.
Through Campus Connect, faculty can view and print data elements that are protected by FERPA. These elements include but are not limited to the student's name, social security number, age, sex, and grades. Please use extreme caution in allowing any person other than yourself access to a student's private information.
Printed materials bearing information protected by FERPA should be kept from unauthorized access while being used and should be shredded -- not discarded-- when no longer needed.
The Office of the Registrar will shred materials, if desired. |

| When adding a student to a course that requires a lab, you must first add the appropriate lab to the student's schedule before adding the lecture portion of the course. |

| Be sure that you enroll all students in CHAP1000. There are two sections. Students whose last names begin with A through L should be enrolled in section 01. Students whose last names begin with M through Z should be enrolled in section 02. |
